Title: Lucky Number Eleven
Author: Adriana Locke
Genre: Romantic Comedy/Sports Romance
Release Date: September 7, 2017
People say not to believe the things you read in magazines, but you know what? Most things youâve heard about me are probably true.
I totally banged the reporter in the locker room after the championship game last year.
Those pictures in Expose from last summer? Those were not modified.
Iâm also not really six-foot tall. (But letâs keep that between us.)
Now, I know youâre wondering about that last Expose headlineâthe one about me and my teammate (and ex-best friend) Finn Millerâs sister, Layla James. That one is a little more complicated.
Hereâs the thing: Iâve played football my whole life. If thereâs one thing I know, itâs how to adjust when the game changes. And if thereâs one thing I always do, itâs find a way to win.
Granted, the stakes are higher. The playbook has changed. Thereâs more on the line than (another) MVP title. But guess what hasnât changed? Me. Iâm still Branch âLuckyâ Best and Iâm not about to fumble this one.
Grab a seat and a subscription to Expose. Iâm about to make some headlines. (Again.)
A sexy, swoon-filled standalone novel.

âOne question,â Poppy interjects, looking at Branch. âWhat position are you?â
âI typically like the bottom so I can watchâoomph,â he says, getting another elbow from Finn. âWide receiver. Why?â
Looking at Poppy, I canât help but laugh as her eyes light up.
âYou got a problem with wide receivers?â Branch asks.
âYou do,â Finn interjects, giving me a narrowed glare. âThey arenât any better than quarterbacks.â
Branch looks from me, to Finn, and back to me. âWhy do we not like quarterbacks?â
âMy sister was dating Callum Worthington.â
âNo shit?â His face puckers like he just bit into a lemon. âHow in the hell did that cocksucker end up with you?â
âHe didnât. Weâre not together anymore.â
Branchâs eyes heat, the look causing my pulse to quicken. âIâm not a bit sorry to hear that.â
âYou better forget you heard any of that,â Finn warns. âThis is my sister, Branch. Not a cheerleader or reporter or some chick from a dating app. Got it?â
âFinn, relax,â I say, shoving a swallow past the lump in my throat. âI appreciate the big brother spiel, but I can handle myself.â
âI know you can,â he says, pulling his gaze away from Branch. âBut you canât handle him.â
